Remove background

Select an image and choose Remove BG from its Edit menu. The subject is cut out in place as a transparent PNG, ready to sit on any backdrop. It uses credits.

  1. Select the image on the Canvas: a photo you uploaded, a stock image, or a generated frame.
  2. In the blue bar menu, open Edit and choose Remove BG. You'll see Removing background... and the object is replaced by the cut-out at the same position and size.
  3. Not happy with the edge? ⌘ Z puts the original back. For a cleaner result, crop tightly first so the subject dominates.

Remove BG is an AI operation with a fixed credit cost. It's available on desktop and tablet; on a phone, this feature has not arrived yet. Generate with No background instead.
