Big Media Fires Warning Shot to Political Doubters

USAToday has run a story today citing poor ballot design and the likely confusion of “new” voters (code for people who have never voted before turning up to vote for Obama) in this November’s election.
Here’s the money quote from the article:
Despite all the spending since [the 2000 election], mostly on new electronic voting systems, not enough attention has been paid to ballot design, the new study warns.
As poll after poll shows fading support for the flip-flopping Senator from Illinois, the media seems to be gearing up for an all out battle for their golden child - even if it means pulling out all the stops and hanging chads we all thought lawyers and Congress put to rest after allocating more than $3 billion to voting system cleanup.
